ATTICA – Nellie R. Heubel, 89,
formerly of Route 4, Attica, and more recently a resident of Country Care
Nursing Center, Williamsport, since March, died at Community Hospital,
Williamsport, at 9:13 a.m. Nov. 5, 1991. She was born in Mattoon, Ill., Jan.
24, 1902, the daughter of Walter M. and Hattie R. Fuller Jackson. She was
married to Oscar J. Heubel. He was a U. S. Steel worker. He preceded in death
in 1963. She had lived in Gary from 1922 to 1974, when she moved to Warren
County. She and her husband owned several apartment buildings in Gary.
Surviving are: one nephew, and 10 great-nephews and nieces. Those locally are:
nephew, Orville Jackson, Route 4, Attica; great-nieces, Cindy Albertson,
Lafayette; Shannon Albertson, Route 4, Attica; Michelle Mikeworth, Boswell;
Janice Harmeson, Route 2, Attica; and Sheree Smith, Route 2, Attica. She was
preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held
at the Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport, at 11 a.m. today (Friday) with the
Rev. John Buckley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery,
Williamsport. – jlr
